The first year anniversary of this wonderful couple inspired me to post some more pictures of their unique and creative wedding at the Brazilian Room in Berkeley. Their flare for the arts was highlighted by Lauren’s gorgeous vintage dress and beautiful hand made broach bouquet. Peter sported a fabulous redwood tie and green shoes. I loved their quirky vintage style and excellent choice of music by the Gaucho Jazz Band. It was such a fun and spirited celebration!
Here’s a peek at some of the loveliest detail shots from my October Brazilian Room wedding. Such quiet intimate beauty set amidst the lush green Tilden trees, a fire in the hearth and warm hearted family and friends.
Katie and Logan’s celebration was one of the most charming and beautiful weddings I’ve photographed. The Jager family cabin in the historic mining town of Dutch Flat in the Sierra foothills was the backdrop for the festivities. Tall ponderosa pines surrounded the venue and made for a spectacular wooded chapel for the ceremony. Katie arrived to the ceremony in the families classic vintage lipstick red Ford. What a unique element of surprise for all the guests! Katie absolutely glowed in her couture Oscar de la Renta gown. Every detail was hand made by Katie and Logan and designed to reflect their family traditions of chic country and southern charm. The king tables set in the garden were beautifully embelished with silver cutlery hand carried from South Carolina, garden roses and dahlias. The grooms cake was decorated to honor their passion for sailing and of course wouldn’t be complete without the Cal (UC Berkeley) flag for the devoted alumni. These two couldn’t be sweeter and and more in love. It was such an honor and joy to be with them and document their family, love and creativity. Congrats to you both!

Congrats to Sophie and Donald on their super fun and creative wedding at the Brazilian Room! Here’s a sneak peek of one of the most creative photo booths I’ve seen! These MIT graduates made such clever use of Lego’s, robots and technology that would make any techno geek drool. The photobooth aka. PHOTOBOT was hand made by Donald which included an lcd screen, computer and printer all encased in the head of a robot. Guests could see themselves against the green screen with various scenic and silly backgrounds and the pictures were spit out by the robots mouth. So clever!!
