A few of my favorite portraits from American couple Julie and Jeff’s wedding in Galway on the stunning first sunny day of the year! We surely had the luck of the Irish with us… Congrats to a lovely couple!
So proud and excited that my image won 7th place in the Wedding Photojournalist Association international competition in the “Weather” category. This was a beautiful wedding at the Multyfarnham Friary in Co. Westmeath Ireland. It is such an honor as this organization represents the best photojournalists in the world! More images from Eamon and Andrea’s wedding to be posted soon…

“A shallow depth of field has the focus transfixed on raindrops adorning the glass of an open limousine door. The skies have now opened to sun and beauty, but the water droplets tell the succinct story of a wedding day, which survived in beauty and rich style…just like this image.”
Here are a few images from this intimate Christmas wedding in Galway. A beautiful ceremony at St Augustinian Church set the tone for the warm Christmas spirit. We had such fun photographing in the festive streets of the city during the holiday rush. Galway is very special to Madeline and Joe as they met here many years ago and have since moved away and started a family. We visited some of their old haunts including the house they lived in on the Long Walk and their favorite pub, The Kings Head. Congratulations on finally tying the knot!
