My first wedding of the season kicked off here at beautiful Testarossa Winery. We really love shooting here because it’s like going to a family home, very intimate with such a friendly staff. The historical stone building, wine cave and lovely grounds are just so pretty in pictures! I’m thrilled to be shooting so much here this year. This charming couple was a bit camera shy but just look at how darn photogenic they are! Gorgeous. Thank you for letting me capture your sweet love and very special wedding celebration. (Also pictured here is the stunning Hotel Los Gatos, always such a romantic backdrop for pre-ceremony portraits)
I’m so excited to share my first “Coming Home Portrait Sessions”! It’s truly wonderful to see children come home all the way from Ethiopia to find their forever families. Surely not a small miracle. I’m so inspired by these beautiful families and my heart goes out to all the millions of orphans who are still waiting to be in their parents loving arms. These portraits exemplify just how amazing adoption can be.
“Coming Home Portraits” are free sessions offered to all new parents of adopted children. If you’ve recently become a parent to an adopted child you are eligible for a free 30 minute portrait session within the first year of their arrival. Congratulations to Alana and Hunter! I’m so looking forward to their wedding at the Piedmont Community Hall this coming May. They made their engagement session a lot of fun by surprising me with a softball catch session, Santa hats and their books “Wedding Planning for Dummies” and “The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists” were a riot. It was the last thing I expected from two medical professionals! Love their sense of humor and game on for fun…
