I’m so excited to have a winning photo in the WPJA (Wedding Photojournalist Association) 3rd quarter contest of 2009!! This beautiful image placed 15th in the Ceremony category among hundreds of submissions by wedding photojournalists from around the world. I captured this moment at Elise and Jonathan’s wedding in the stunning Santa Clara University Mission Church. The light and sweet gesture expresses exactly what I try to capture at every wedding. I’m so thrilled to have this lovely image represent my work.

Now that’s going to be a big Christmas tree… but how to get it home?
Here are some of my favorite images from Deserie and Joe’s wedding at Testarossa Vineyards. What a beautiful family you have now; four adorable children and the cutest pug. (what is it with me and dogs? that’s two weddings in a row, I love it!) An identical twin brother to the groom certainly added to the fun since I really had to make sure I was photographing the right guy, and they really had a good time trying to confuse me! Thanks for all the fun and wonderful opportunity to share your incredible day.
