Last month I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot my first destination wedding in Maui with the amazing Marlin Lum of Marlin Lum Photography. What an extraordinary day it was celebrating with this very special couple and their families at the stunning Four Seasons Resort. Sayoko’s Japanese heritage added such a dramatic flare to the celebration with the gorgeous traditional kimonos and Buddhist ceremony. Hearing the words of this ceremony reminded me why I love Buddhism so much, it just resonated with such serenity and depth. It was truly an honor to be present for and document the joyful coming together of these wonderful people. Many thank you’s to Marlin for having me as part of your team! Let’s do it again!
